Christmas in September mailart exchange and Friday's Blog - Joulukuorivaihto ja perjantaiblogi

Have you noticed it's Friday, yippee :) I participated in Christmas in September exchange in Stitched mailart group. This is the beautiful envelope Diana from the Netherlands stitched for me! I think it's very Christmassy with the Noël text and all the red hearts and tree and star. Those stamps are my favourite of Dutch stamps so far, I think they are pretty! Diana also sent me a cute snowman card, snowman ornament for the tree and three skeins of threads, but I forgot to take photos of those. Thank you Diana very much for everything!

Below there's the envelope I stitched for Connie. It was the first envelope arriving to her like that, without a paper of plastic cover and I'm happy it arrived safe and sound. I know some stitchers want to protect their envelope and it's always wonderful to receive an envelope, whether it's in plastic cover or not, but I always send mine just like that, without a cover. This time I didn't even glue the stamp and it was great to see that also the stamp survived the journey. It's sometimes nice to make experiments and test the postal system :)

Today I'd like you to meet Lily at Marie's blog. Marie stitched for me last year in Seasonal Exchangers and I know that she's been searching for a puppy for a loooong time. I was so happy to read that she has now found Lily, isn't she cute? Marie's stitching is beautiful, I so much enjoy reading her blog.

Jee mikä päivä nyt on, perjantait on kivoja :) Osallistuin jouluvaihtoon kirjekuorilistalla ja sain tällaisen kivan kuoren Dianalta Hollannista! Diana pistelin kauniin jouluisen kuoren ja lähetti mukana myös lankaa, joulukortin ja lumiukkokoristeen, joista unohdin ottaa kuvan. Nuo lumihiutalemerkit ovat varmaankin lemppareitani hollantilaisista merkeistä, tosi nättejä.

Itse lähetin kuoren Connielle Saksaan. Tämä oli kuulemma Connien eka kuori joka hänelle on lähetetty sellaisenaan, ilman mitään suojaa. Osa pistelijöistä tykkää suojata kuorensa muovilla tai lähettää sen kirjekuoressa. Kuoria on aina ihana saada, tulivatpa ne sitten kuoressa tai sellaisenaan, mutta minä lähetän aina kuoret sellaisenaan. Postimerkkiäkään en tällä kertaa kiinnittänyt muulla kuin merkin omalla liimalla ja onneksi hyvin pysyi paikoillaan. Kiva testailla postisysteemiä aina välillä :)

Käykääpä tänään tutustumassa Lilyyn Marien blogissa. Mariehan pisteli minulle Seasonal Exchangers -vaihdossa viime vuonna ja hän etsi jo silloin tuollaista koiranpentua. Oli niin ihana lukea että nyt Lily on löytynyt! Marien pistelyt ovat tosi ihania aina, kannattaa seurata hänen blogiaan.

Ihanaa viikonloppua ja pistelyniloa! Meillä on huomenna OUPSin ristipistotapaaminen ja ajattelin jotain joulukoristetta pistellä, kun on SAL-viikonloppukin Stephanien kanssa :) Sunnuntaina varaan aikaa blogien lukemiseen ja kommentoimiseen :)
