Merci Julie!!! October Goals - Lokakuun tavoitteet

Oh what a lovely envelope arrived yesterday! Julie from France sent me this beautiful magnet as a birthday present. I think Julie is the first stitching friend I ever had in the Internet :) When we moved back from France, I found the exchanges she organized. We became friends, we've never met yet, but we write letters and e-mail and we've spoken on the phone :)

Julie stitched me this gorgeous tiny heart design, she writes it's designed by C. Mendousse. Thank you so much Julie, it was so good to read your letter and I love the magnet :) It's perfectly stitched over one and it's a beauty.

It's time to review the goals. September was a lousy month stitchingwise (not otherwise :) ), I haven't had much time to stitch and I'm late with everything, gifts etc., but luckily not with exchanges though. Anyway, these were my goals for September:

* Stitch and finish couple of gifts, Yes (finished only one, but have started many...)
* Stitch and finish Christmas in September exchange (Stitched mailart), Yes
* Stitch and finish Autumn exchange for Veronica (Seasonal exchangers), Yes
* Stitch and finish Fall House exchange (SBEBB), Almost finished, mailing date 6th October
* Stitch and finish one or two things for Violarium, Started, but not finished
* Continue stitching Spanish Mystery Sampler, complete at least part 1, No...

I try to do better in October! Especially I want to finish the belated gifts I'm stitching and I've one huge finish to do which should have been finished at least a month ago...

* Stitch and finish couple of gifts
* Finish Fall House exchange (SBEBB)
* Stitch and finish The Pumpkin Patch exchange (SBEBB)
* Stitch and finish the personal exchange with Heather
* Stitch an ornament with Stephanie
* Stitch and finish couple of things for Violarium

Well what can I say, September is always a wonderful but busy month with all the hobbies restarting after the summer, lots of work and other things to do. Hopefully I'll have more time to stitch in the evenings in October :) Have a wonderful day today and happy stitching!

Je vais écrire un peu en francais aussi, comme j'ai recu une enveloppe de la France hier! Julie m'a envoyé ce magnet qu'elle a brodé et monté. C'est un cadeau d'anniversaire et je l'adore! C'est un modèle de C. Mendousse et Julie l'a brodé avec fil Atalie.

Merci mille fois Julie, j'adore ce cadeau et ta lettre aussi! Julie est une amie brodeuse, j'ai participé aux échanges elle organisait il y a quelques années. Je pense qu'elle est la première amie brodeuse que j'ai trouvé sur Internet. Julie, je vais t'écrire un e-mail plus tard aujourd'hui, maintenant il faut que j'aille :) Bonne journée et merci pour vos visites, même si je n'écris pas souvent en francais :)

Eilen sain ihanaa postia! Julie Ranskasta lähetti tämän kauniin magneetin synttärilahjaksi. Malli on kuulemma C. Mendoussen ja se on pistelty Atalien langalla yhden yli. Aivan ihana yllätys oli saada tällaista postia! Julie on varmaan ensimmäinen ristipistoystävä jonka löysin netistä :) Löysin vaihdot joita Julie järkkäsi vuosia sitten ja osallistuin niihin ja ystävystyimme. Emme ole vielä tavanneet nokatusten, mutta kirjoittelemme kirjeitä ja sähköpostia ja puhelimessakin on puhuttu :)

Sitten on tavoitekatsauksen aika. Syyskuu oli surkea pistelykuukausi, ei muuten onneksi surkea kuukausi sentään :) Olen myöhässä ihan kaikesta, lahjojen pistelyssä ja niin pois päin, mutta onneksi vaihdot olen ehtinyt tehdä ajallaan. Joka tapauksessa, tässä syyskuun tavoitteet:

* Pistele pari lahjaa, Jep (pistelin yhden ainoan, mutta monta on aloitettu...)
* Pistele Christmas in September -kirjekuorivaihto, Jep
* Tee loppuun syksyvaihto Veronicalle (Seasonal exchangers), Jep
* Pistele Fall House -vaihto (SBEBB), Melkein valmis, postituspäivä ensi maanantai
* Pistele pari juttua Violariumille, lähinnä messuja varten, Aloitin juu
* Jatka Spanish Mystery Samplerin pistelemistä, tee valmiiksi ainakin osa 1, Ei

Lokakuussa täytyy päästä paremmin tavoitteisiin, ainakin haluan saada valmiiksi muutaman lahjan pistelyn ja yhden ison viimeistelyn, jonka pitäisi olla valmis ainakin kuukausi sitten :)

* Pistele pari lahjaa
* Tee loppuun Fall House -vaihto (SBEBB)
* Pistele The Pumpkin Patch -vaihto (SBEBB)
* Pistele vaihto Heatherille
* Pistele joulukoriste Stephanien kanssa
* Pistele pari juttua Violariumille

No, syyskuu on aina ihana mutta kiireinen kuukausi, omat ja lasten harrastukset alkavat ja on kovasti töitä ja muuta tekemistä. Että ehkä lokakuussa on enemmän aikaa iltaisin pistellä :) Ihanaa tätä päivää ja kiitos kommenteista ja vierailuista, pistelyniloa!
