I have been a bit late with the end of the year birthday gifts for my friends. But I've decided not to stress about these, as I think a gift is always (hopefully :) ) a lovely surprise, whether it arrives in time or late :)

During the Christmas holiday I managed to finish three gifts for my stitching friends, who all live quite near and with whom we meet more or less often. Virpi likes sea, so I chose this lighthouse design. It's a freebie that can be found at Isa Vautier's blog. You have to click "Kdo" in Catégories on the right to find all the free designs.

Marika has had a busy autumn, so I thought she might enjoy some peace :) I made a simple finish with beads, as I wanted this to look calm.

For Marja-Liisa I chose the Blue Ribbon Designs ornament, as I know she likes samplers and alphabets. I love these ornaments and I hope to stitch many more this year.

Yesterday I received a surprise from Pirjo! She sent me a chart from my wishlist as a RAK and it was such a wonderful surprise!! That was such a lovely thing to do, the chart is Joyful Summer by CCN, it's a colourful and lovely design and I hope to stitch it this spring. Thank you so much Pirjo, your RAK really, really made my day :)

Olen ollut vähän myöhässä loppuvuoden synttärilahjojen kanssa, mutta olen päättänyt että lahjoista en stressaa, ne toivottavasti ilahduttavat saapuivat ne sitten minä päivänä tahansa :)

Sain valmiiksi kolmelle oupsilaiselle synttärilahjat loman aikana, oli ihana tehdä näitä! Virpi tykkää merestä, niinpä pistelin hänelle tämän majakkamallin, joka löytyy Isa Vautierin blogista. Oikealta Catégories-otsikon alta löytyy "Kdo", siellä ovat kaikki ilmaismallit.

Marikalla on ollut kiireinen syksy, niinpä ajattelin että vähän rauhaa olisi paikallaan :) Tein tuollaisen yksinkertaisen viimeistelyn helmien kanssa, niin että näyttää varmasti rauhalliselta.

Marja-Liisalle pistelin Blue Ribbon Designsin koristeen, koska hän pitää aakkosmalleista. Olen ihastunut näihin nyt ja haluan pistellä vielä monta tänä vuonna.

Eilen sain yllätyspostia Pirjolta! Pirjo lähetti ihan muuten vaan yllärinä mallin toivelistaltani, CCN:n Joyful Summer. Se on niin ihanan värikäs ja iloinen malli, toivottavasti ehdin pistellä sen tänä keväänä. Kiitos tuhannesti Pirjo täydellisestä yllätyksestä, oli ihana saada tuollaista postia muuten vaan, rakastan ylläreitä :)
