Christmas ornament for Stephanie

Stephanie had her birthday last week and I wanted to stitch something for her. As we have our mini SAL (we stitch Christmas ornaments one weekend every month), I just had to stitch a Christmas ornament for her :) This design is by Scandinavian Stitches and it's published in JCS Christmas Ornaments 2007 issue. I changed the fabric and threads as I didn't like the hard colours in the original model. The fabric is Zweigart 32 count Belfast Vintage Country Mocha and I used Atalie threads (+ one DMC) for stitching.

This weekend is again our SAL weekend and also the SAT weekend, but I'm afraid I don't have lots of stitching time. I haven't even decided yet which ornament to stitch, but I'm off to decide now :) I so much enjoy stitching these Christmas ornaments with Stephanie all year round!

Oh and below you'll see my favourite photo taken last week :) Manteli came to help me when I took photos of another biscornu I made for a stitching friend. I'm so happy to hear that you like the biscornu, Donna :) Have a happy weekend everyone!

I love the photo of Manteli! This looks like an art-photo in a museum....." 'Giant Cat with Needlework' by Lennu on display this month at the Metropolitan Museum of Art"......
What a lovely ornament for Stephanie. I am trying to catch up on my one-ornament-each-month promise. I have not gotten to it in several months, but then made three ornaments on Wednesday to make up for it.
