Oh I'm so sorry for this silence again! Time seems to fly nowadays and I've been so busy. I'm really looking forward to Christmas and vacation and quiet and peace. Also a very dear friend of mine is having an immense sorrow in her family and I've been crying my eyes out and I am so sad for her... So these are some reasons I haven't been writing, but I can always try to do better this week :)

Last week I received another surprise from my secret stitching friend, she sent me this lovely Advent calendar. Thank you so much! Carol asked if I know who she is, no I don't, I don't even have a clue and it won't be revealed until in January when the exchange is over :) But I do know that she is such a sweet person! She has already written me two long letters and I really enjoyed reading them and receiving mail from her.

Le temps vole vraiment, je suis tellement desolée pour le silence! J'attends tellement Noël et paix et calme. En plus une amie a un chagrin énorme dans sa famille, donc j'ai pleuré tellement et je suis très très triste pour elle...

Mais j'essaie de faire mieux cette semaine! J'ai recu cet calendrier de l'Avent de ma "brodeuse secrete", je l'aime bien! Je ne sais pas du tout qui elle est, mais elle m'a envoyé des choses tellement belles déjà et elle m'a ecrit deux lettres!

Huihai kun on taas hurahtanut aikaa. Tuntuu että aika lentää vaan yhä nopeampaan, ihana kun kohta on Joulu ja loma ja rauhaa ja hiljaisuutta. Ei ole ollut kovinkaan aikaa pistellä mitään ylimääräistä eikä kirjoitella blogiin. Kaiken touhun lisäksi erästä rakasta ystävää on kohdannut suurensuuri suru ja sitä on täällä itketty ja surtu.

Mutta aina voi yrittää tällä viikolla enemmän kirjoittaa :) Viime viikolla jo sain salaiselta ristipistoystävältä tämän ihanan adventtikalenterin, tuhannet kiitokset vielä tässäkin! Tosi mukava sitten nähdä tammikuussa kuka näitä ihania juttuja lähettelee, kaksi oikeaa kirjettäkin olen jo saanut. Ekat luukut on avattu kauniista kalenterista :)

Today I received another surprise in the post and I have absolutely no idea about the sender! You'll see in the photo above that I received a wonderful skein of thread from Belgium (there was a lovely stamp on the envelope too). I noticed that someone else has also received this kind of mail? If you read this, do you have any idea about the sender, I'd love to thank her! I think it could be anyone, as my address can be easily found at Violarium's site. This surprise really brightened up my day after this weekend, thank you so much! And blue is my favourite colour :) I was really touched that someone wanted to surprise me, as I have been quite absent lately, not commenting much and not even writing very often into my own blog. Thank you for this warm gesture!

Aujourd'hui j'ai recu une surprise par la poste! Quelqu'un en Belgique m'a envoyé ce fil bleu merveilleux. Mais je ne sais pas du tout qui? Je croix que les autres ont recu ces fils aussi, n'est-ce pas? Je voudrais tellement dire merci à quelqu'un, s'il te plaît, ecrit-moi :) Je sais que n'importe qui peut trouver mon adresse sur la site de Violarium, donc je ne peux pas deviner :) Merci mille fois!!

Tänään vuorostaan sain postissa tällaisen yllätyksen, lankatokan joka näkyi tulleen Belgiasta. Eikä pienintäkään aavistusta keneltä! Näin kyllä jostakin blogista että joku muukin on saanut samanlaista postia, mutta en yhtään tiedä että kuka näitä lähettelee :) Minun osoitteenhan löytää kuka vaan helposti, että sinänsä tämä voi olla keneltä vaan. Joka tapauksessa, oli kiva piristys, että joku muisti minua, tosi kaunis sininen lanka ja kortti :)

Then couple of photos of Manteli, as she is 1 year old now! She had her birthday couple of weeks ago actually and couple of my daughter's friends wanted to come to celebrate her birthday :) I just love Manteli and feel so happy that we have a cat, I've always wanted to have a cat! She's such a cute cat and I love her, did I say that already :) Look at the expression on her face in the second photo, I think she hates the flash and doesn't like the situation at all... :)

Manteli a un an maintenant! Elle a eu son anniversaire il y a deux semaines, elle a même eu les invitées, deux amies de ma fille lesquelles absolutement voulaient venir :) J'adore notre petite Manteli et je suis tellement heureuse d'avoir un chat, j'ai toujours voulu avoir un chat. Je l'adore :) Je pense que la deuxième photo est très amusante, elle n'aime pas la situation du tout.

Pari kuvaa Mantelista vielä, Manteli on yksivuotias! Synttärit olivat pari viikkoa sitten ja niitä oikein juhlittiin, pari tyttären kaveria halusi välttämättä tulla synttäreille :) Manteli on niin ihana, olen aina haaveillut kissasta ja olen niin onnellinen kun meillä nyt Manteli on. Suloinen pieni ihana kissa. Katsokaa tuota ilmettä toisessa kuvassa, korvien asennostakin näkee ja ilmeestä että kuvaaminen on ihan tylsää :)

I can't show you any stitching this time, I have had time only for stitching exchanges and they haven't arrived yet to the recipients. But I finished knitting socks for myself, so I'll show you a photo :) Just basic socks and I started these ages ago, but didn't finish until now.

Again I have to say that I'm very sorry to be so behind in blog reading but I'll try to catch up. Thank you so much for your comments, I am really grateful that you visit my blog even though I'm such a bad blog reader at the moment. Have a wonderful new week!

Je ne peux pas vous montrer les broderies, comme je n'ai brodé que les échanges, et ils voyagent toujours. Mais j'ai tricoté les chausettes pour moi-même, donc je vous montre une photo :) J'ai commencé à les tricoter il y a longtemps...

Je suis tellement desolée parce que je suis toujours en retard et je n'ai pas pu lire vos blogs vraiment. Mais je veux vous remercier pour vos visites et fidelité et surtout commentaires! Merci pour les mots gentils pour mon Sampler Noël, malheureusement je n'ai pas pu le broder, mais je vais continuer un jour :) Bonne semaine!

Mitään ristipistonäytettävää ei ole tällä kertaa, en ole ehtinyt pistellä muuta kuin vaihtoja, jotka ovat vielä matkalla. Mutta sain valmiiksi omat sukkani sentään :) Nämä olen aloittanut ikuisuus sitten, ihan perussukat, mutta nyt vasta sain valmiiksi.

Itseään pitää toistaa taas, eli olen yhä edelleen jäljessä blogien lukemisessa... Kiitos että jaksatte täällä silti vierailla ja kiitos kommenteista, jossain vaiheessa otan kiinni kyllä :) Ihanaa uutta viikkoa jokaiselle!
