Hearts Mailart Exchange for Marie-Antoinette

Marie-Antoinette has received the Hearts Mailart Exchange I stitched for her. I had these stamps so I just had to participate :) The heart designs I stitched for this one are published in De fil en aiguille Coeurs (Hearts) special issue and I stitched this envelope on printed linen banding with Atalie and WDW threads.

I was so happy to hear that this exchange arrived safely, it's always a bit exciting to send these mailart envelopes! This time I didn't even secure the envelope with stitches, I only closed it with threads under the little roses. I know it might be a bit stupid, but I like to make experiments and test the postal system :D Everything I sent inside the envelope arrived safely to Marie-Antoinette, so the postal system between Finland and the Netherlands worked well :)

I've been stitching more secrets and this weekend is a Stitch-A-Thon weekend again, so I hope to continue my St Hippolyte. Have a happy weekend everyone!

Marie-Antoinette a recu cet échange l'art postal hier! Vous pouvez deviner peut-être que le thème c'est les coeurs :) J'ai trouvé les motifs au De fil en aiguille magazine HS Coeurs et j'ai brodé cette envelope sur la bande imprimée avec les fils Atalie et Weeks Dye Works. C'est toujours un peu redoutable d''envoyer ces enveloppes, cette fois je n'ai même pas assuré le rattachement. Mais Marie-Antoinette a tout bien recu, donc le system postal fuctionne bien entre la Finlande et les Pays-Pas :)

Je brode toujours les cadeaux et c'est le Stitch-A-Thon week-end, donc j'espére d'avoir un peu de temps pour St Hippolyte ce week-end. Bon week-end!

Marie-Antoinette sai eilen postissa tämän kirjekuorivaihdon jonka pistelin. Minulla on jemmassa noita sydänpostimerkkejä, niinpä oli pakko osallistua tähän vaihtoon :) Sydänmallit löytyvät De fil en aiguille -lehden erikoisnumerosta Coeurs (sydämet) ja pistelin kuoren painetulle pellavanauhalle Atalien ja Weeks Dye Worksin langoilla.

On aina ihana kuulla että kirjekuorivaihto on mennyt perille, jotenkin niiden lähettämisessä on oma jännityksensä :) Mieluiten lähetän kuoret sellaisenaan, siis ilman mitään ylimääräisiä varmisteluja. Niinpä tätäkään kuorta en kiinnittänyt enää ylimääräisillä pistoilla, vaan solmin ainoastaan kiinni noilla pienillä langoilla ruusujen alta. Ehkä se on vähän tyhmää, mutta on mukava testata postisysteemiä :D Kaikki mitä lähetin kuoren sisällä meni perille, eli ainakin tällä kertaa Suomen ja Hollannin postit toimivat :)

Pistelyt ovat edelleen salaisia täällä, tämä viikonloppu on jälleen Stitch-A-Thon -viikonloppu ja yritän siis ehtiä vähän St Hippolyteä pistelemään. Oikein ihanaa viikonloppua kaikille!
