Blood, donations and rock'n'roll - Verta, rokkia ja lahjoituksia

What a week! Life is hectic sometimes, but if it's positively hectic, I like it :) I've been stitching a bit too and two gifts have found their ways to new homes. Above the first one and of the other one I forgot to take photos. It was a blue box for Tuula and you can see a photo of it in her blog if you scroll down.

14 people had "even a slightly correct idea" in the competition and most of them guessed completely correctly :) I put all the names in a hat and drew Pirjo K's name! So Pirjo will receive a scissor fob later this summer, congratulations :)

The answer is: I sing in a chamber choir, I enjoy almost all kinds of music from classical music to rock music, but my old love makes the best music for jogging and for adjusting brains to zero and for everything, it's the cure for every trouble :) They are on tour and I missed the sale of tickets, but my sweet brother found an extra ticket last week and my wonderful husband bought it for me as a wedding anniversary gift :D So on Wednesday and Thursday I drove/sat in the car for 1300 kilometers (800 miles) to get to the concert with the best little brothers in the world and it was worth it :) Of course I had to stitch something for the occasion and the last stitches for the wristband were sewn in the car, just in time, couple of hundred kilometers from Helsinki...

Oh and we did celebrate our crystal wedding anniversary together with my husband too - we went to donate blood and then my husband took me for a dinner :D

I never would have imagined that group for you! They are also the favorite of my little brother (now 43 years young). What great stitching of the wrist band. I am sure many fans admired it and wanted one just like it.

:o) Harmi ettei arvonta suosinut.

AC/DC? Wow, you're a rocker chick at heart, aren't you? ;-) I think you should x-stitch the wrist band for the whole band! It may catch on!

Onpa upea ranneke! AD/DC:tä en kuuntele aktiivisesti, mutta pidän kyllä kovasti heidän musiikistaan, josta osasta tulee elävästi mieleen parinkymmenen vuoden takaisin Karibian matka :-)

Sydänkoriste on tosi suloinen!

It's always worth to drive hundreds of kilometres to see your favourite music group at a live event. Absolutely cool, that wrist band.

I love your AC/DC wristband - very creative! :D Great that you got to see them live in concert :) They were right up in the top 10 bands of my youth growing up, and I have to say I still love to hear their songs ... brings back many memories :D

Minä olen menossa 19.9 Nightwishin konserttiin Hartwallille, jeee! Olisipa mulla taitoa tehdä sinne ranneke itselle.
