I'm very late with my PIFs... Eventually I ended up with only 2 names, but I'll stitch and send RAKs to compensate the missing third one. This is the first one, PIF for Jennifer, she has received it yesterday. She likes Russian designs, so I chose a border from a collection I bought in France last year. I calculated a bit (why does it seem that stitching is pure mathematics for me nowadays?) and the result is a humbug or berlingot in French. The motif goes all around the humbug and I so enjoyed stitching this one :)

By the way, today was the day for me. The day? The day, the very important day. The very first late winter day, when you have left your car to a parking lot and come back and realize that the sun has warmed up the inside of the car so that it's not cold but warm. That's always a very important day to me, not that I wait for spring to come at all...

Olen pikkuriikkisen myöhässä PIFfien kanssa... Loppujen lopuksi minun "Anna hyvän kiertää" -listassani on vain kaksi nimeä, mutta lähetän ylläreitä kompensoidakseni puuttuvaa nimeä. Tämä on ensimmäinen PIF, Jenniferille. Hän pitää venäläisistä malleista, niinpä pistelin nauhaa venäläisestä mallikokoelmasta, jonka ostin Ranskasta viime vuonna. Laskin ja laskin (miksi ristipistojen tekeminen tuntuu olevan puhdasta matematiikkaa nykyään?) ja tulos on tällainen tetra, humbug, berlingot, mikä lienee. Pillimehu tulee ekaksi mieleen. Kuvio kiertää ympäriinsä ja tätä oli kyllä mukava pistellä!

Tänään muuten oli se päivä minulle. Ai mikä päivä? No se kevättalven ensimmäinen päivä, kun on jättänyt auton parkkipaikalle ja takaisin tullessaan huomaa, että aurinko on lämmittänyt sen sisältä lämpimäksi, eikä sisälle ole kylmä mennä. Tosi tärkeä päivä minulle, ei silti että mitenkään yhtään kevättä odottaisin, pois se minusta...
